A desserted island holds many secrets and surprises for a nomad deciding to camp there. I am not going to tell you all about it because I am planning a very long post about my adventures in the island involving beaches, hiking, hunting wild snakes and much more.
What I can give you is a glimpse of this friend who came every day at five in the morning, knocking on my window and waking me up without any remorse.

This is my last stop. This is the last Maya archaeological site I visit. Not because I don´t want to keep exploring the Maya world but because this is the most southern Ruin. I reached the border of the Maya empire and I am thrilled I decided Copán should be the final destination.

I can´t count how many times people told me to avoid visiting Guatemala city. You´ll get robbed, there is nothing to see there, tourists don´t go to the capital for a reason, you will not find any hostels there etc etc.
With more than 4.5 million people, Nueva Guatemala is the biggest city in the country and I arrived there hoping to change some Bitcoin for Quetzales because even young guatemalans had more physichal money than me.
